The AD-4408A is an indicator specifically designed for field network connections, such as Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet.

The AD-4408A incorporates Anybus CompactCom, a communication interface for interchangeable plug-ins by HMS Industrial Networks. This interface allows you to choose the connection you want for the AD-4408A from Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet. Furthermore, its High-Performance Digital Filter realizes both an extremely fast response speed and stable weighing in high vibration environments. With this function, it is possible to enhance the performance of weighing devices that structurally have a source of vibration, such as automatic checkweighers and constant feed weighers.

The AD-4408A has a high tolerance to noise (more than three times stronger than the minimum requirements for CE marking), while achieving an excellent input sensitivity of 0.15 µV/d. In addition, the wide zero and span adjustment ranges (from -7 mV/V to 7 mV/V) allow measurements with a very large dead weight or connections to load cells with various rated outputs.
